Okay, so maybe not E-day, but the official announcement anyway. Who thinks the May 12th date confirms the mid-June release date?

Well, there are at least 2 separate copies floating around...one I saw has all of the event details blurred out, and one says "New York" on it.

i just hope its not photoshopped by someone in the facebook evo event group, since that's where the may 12th date started floating around (because of the rescheduled end date for the event).

At this point, I don't believe it's fake at all. Sprint is going to start their media blitz making a big splash.

I've been browsing through the android apps just to pass the time. Trying to decide which ones I want and looking for the ones I hope will be available soon like:

In all seriousness, I sure hope it happens because if it doesn't happen soon and they wait too long it will only hurt them.

I also thought it was fake, but now that it's been posted on several websites, it seems to be real.

I assume it will be a fairly big event, all the specs will be 'officially' announced, possibly upgrade the rom to 8 gig to match the Incredible, which could be one of the surprises Dan Hesse mentioned.

I imagine this same day or a day or two beforehand, Wimax will go live in NYC and Sprint will talk it up, as well as announce more cities getting Wimax in the near future.
