.

I have a clean IMEI tmobile note 3, unlocked

(currently using straight talk tmobile, and tested with Tmobile PayGo sim, and ATT sim cards, all working OK)

Today, I went to the MetroPCS store to port my number over from Straight talk, and the error pops up
"Serial Number 3589XXXXXXXX(my note 3) does not exist in inventory"

The MetroPCS clerk called in the 800 number and they too cannot get past the error screen for activation.

How do I get my Note 3 on Metro?

This Note 3 has been bought in full, direct at the tmobile store, bought it outright.

* I didnt have time, so I ended up paying $10 for the metro sim card and took it home, hopefully calling in customer care myself to activate.. but all CSR cannot get past the "serial number does not exist in inventory" screen.

Please help?

Im sorry I don't have any help for the unknown IMEI but I have to ask why switch from straight talk T mobile to metro?
Both will use the same service both will get the same data speeds but metro costs more.

oh, yes that would make sense, You must use quite a bit of data on that commute, I hope your imei issue gets resolved, one reason I dislike metro's gsm at least for now they tie the sim to the phone so if you switch phones you have to call and get the imei updated.

so I sent a message to facebook support, and they say to go into a CORPORATE MetroPcs store.

The store I went to last night was an Authorized dealer, is there any difference?

Does the Corp Stores have the ability to add imei numbers to the database where Authorized dealers dont?

Im at work now so I cant go to try.

I've always had better experiences at corporate stores they're much more helpful

I just did this today. I got the sim I ordered but couldn't get past the imei number part when trying to activate online so I went into metro's help chat and the rep was able to activate and move my number over. No trips to anywhere :)
