But in all seriousness, if you want to SIM unlock your phone, you're better off either calling your provider or going to one of those stalls you see in shopping centres and just taking the (usually negligible) financial hit.

I mean, if you don't know what you're doing and you find a code or whatever on the web then you run some unnecessary risks.
I once tried to unlock an old phone of mine by searching the internet for an unlock code, but reliable information was few and far between, forums aren't places where people post that kind of stuff, and the places they are posted... well I wouldn't trust them tbh
