Help Unread badge icon won't go away

Hi

I have the bade provider app to show unread badges on mail etc.
Issue is on the gmail app it is always accurate and goes away after I read or delete emails. However the stock email app doesn't do this. Eg. had 6 new email come in, deleted them, gmail app the badge icon goes away but on the stock email app it shows 1 still unread but nothing is in the inbox.

Even after clearing the data it's still there.

Is there a fix for this or is it a common issue.

Settings, application manager, all, BadgeProvider and clear data should do the trick. As you've downloaded an app called badge provider you'll probably have two of them, you need to clear data for the one you didn't download.

I tried that, will try again, I only have one badge prvider in settings menu, thanks will see how I go

Tried that, no luck, the badge stays there and eventually it goes. I have gone to just using the gmail app which doesn't have this problem, but would be nice to find a solution for the other one.
