However there are attempts but all look sketchy to me .
From what I know, all you will get Android look alike/skin not android OS itself

Welcome to Android Forums.

There have been many attempts to get an Android ROM to install on hardware designed for another OS with varying degrees of success, including the Monte. I have yet to see one that even comes close to a decent experience. If they work at all, they are buggy, prone to crashes and at least half of the functionality is missing or doesn't work. For the amount of effort and limited success, you'd be better off buying a low end or used phone that was designed to work with Android.
