[Verizon] 4.04 radio woes

When I tried the .04 radios I wouldn't receive calls or sms's. The handoff between took forever and LTE wouldn't pick up sometimes! I'm in a good area .

I know wipe Dalvik...
I don't know how to solve!

You don't have to wipe anything when flashing a radio.

Did you confirm you were actually on the 4.0.4 radio baseband after flashing? Settings > about phone?

Try the 4.0.2 radios those are the official ones from the googs

Yeah I confirmed it... was happy when I finally decided to do it...

The .02 radios were fine, same with .03... just was excited about the attenuation

my original impression is that the .04 radios were better; however, I think I just wanted them to be better, because it seems like they slowed down in handoff timing the longer I used them

What radios you on dan?

I'm on the 4.0.2 radios. While I get better 4G signal strength (who knows what that really means...) with the .4 radios, it will drop down to 3G in areas where I should be getting 4G.

So: I'd rather have a weaker 4G signal at home and 4G 100% of time ala the .2 radio, than stronger 4G at home and 4G dropouts to 3G where it shouldn't be ala .4 radio.

It's very location dependent so mileage will vary very much

I checked the dbm on my phone at the house by flashing .02 and .04 radios back and forth - the 3G and 4G signal was exactly the same.
