Stump no longer works. my phone got a system update last night and i just tried that method today, and it says 'device is patched, sorry' and offers no other method, not brute force not nothing.

So there is no Verizon ROM for 4.4.4? My phone keeps asking me to update, but I don't want to lose root. And can I unroot with stumproot?

Not that I've heard of. General consensus is the 11c modem does seem to run a bit better, so worth installing, even if you don't want to bother with boot or system.

Well I set my phone to factory reset, and it's unrooted but the system update is still giving me the error message, what do I do?

What exactly are you trying to do? Unroot?
My phone is urooted but what I am trying to do is set the phone back to like when I first bought it like a factory reset, but I tried a factory reset and all the things I deleted like the apps are still gone, so I need a ROM of 4.4.2.

In that previous post, you stated you were rooted, then

you performed a factory reset, and are now unrooted?

Is that all you did---a factory reset?
