Help Video chatting

i know for a fact tthat my ascend can not do video chat, but maybe their will be? because my mytouch 3g (original) does not have a front-facing camera, and it still does video chat. well we once have video chat?

There's some kind of mirrored stand/device I've seen in a post somewhere here in the ASCEND forum to make phones like ours do video-chat.
Not sure what it is,or,if it works on the ASCEND,but,if I were to start sinking money into gadgets to make this phone work better,I'd just take that money & send it to a ROM developer as a thank you for all they've done for our community &/or buy a better phone.
As for apps that will accomplish this,haven't heard of any.
