Okay I finally rooted my (yay) so now I have two questions. First is busybox okay to install after using the Odin root method? Second kernel tuner and other apps I tried are messing up my cpu up are they safe to use or not because I get a weird screen in kernel tuner?

Busybox is ok to install after rooting with ODIN:)
I assume you are talking about this one?

And as far as kernel tuner, I am not familiar with that app.
I recommend SetCpu or SystemTuner among others.
How do you mean they are messing up your cpu?

Yes that's what I meant and as for the cpu, I accidentally activated the nonactive cpu and I had to uninstall the app (kernel tuner) so is it safe to overclock?

To a certain point. Some devices will start to reboot if set too high.
Also, your kernel will determine how high you can overclock.

Another thing, do not put a "checkmark" in the "set at boot" box....if you have that box checked, and you set your cpu too high, it will go into a neverending bootloop...so overclock in small increments.
:)
Just remember, if you overclock, you will use more battery. Varies from device to device, but fun to play with. :D

Okay so is it safe to enable both cpus on the stock kernel?

Honestly, with the app I use, there is no option to shut one off and was not aware that it was even possible.:)
I would let the kernel decide that, and not mess with disabling one or more processors.
I just mess with over/under clocking and governors. ;)

I was playing around with the app you were telling me about and you're right it doesn't. That's what kernel tuner is able to do. But until someone releases a stable rom and kernel I don't wanna mess with the cpu lol

I wouldnt bother messing around with individual cores tbh unless you really know what youre doing (i dont and i have 4 cores lol)
For clocking, i use No Frills CPU Control because its so simple. it also has like a "safety valve" so that if the phone reboots because of being too over/under clocked ("unclean shutdown") No Frills wont apply its settings even if it is set to "apply at boot"

With the evo v I would enable the 2nd core but I had a ROM on it so right now I'm gonna wait until someone releases one
