voice search shortcut not working.

I used to be able long press the search touch button on my Droid and it now no longer does this is there a place that I may have changed that. A short press gives me the Text search still but I just don't seem to have my voice search any more. I can still launch it from thebutton on the text search bar. Any of you guys have an idea. I'm using a motodroid
