Hi everyone. I'm a med school student, symbian user for 7 years, now about to join the android civilization. Was finding it difficult to decide if my first android 'd be a mobile or a tab, as I'm very used to using my S60 handsets extensively for academics related browsing, office suite editing and referring to ebooks/pdfs in the wards. Thought no better way than to listen to the experts before I decide, and here I am.

    Welcome to the forums!

The Dell Streak does a pretty good job of being a phone and a tablet by all accounts, you might want to give that a look in?

    Welcome. :)

You will be pleased to know that with Android you will have a much better browser than on Symbian, and ability to use more than 100 medical apps available on Android Market.

Ebooks and pdf readers are freeware for Android.
