Help Want to change what messaging program is launced from main screen.

I've tried finding an answer for this, but here goes.

When on your phones main screens where you swipe back and forth between the pages, along the bottom, there are 4 default buttons: Phone, Contacts, Messaging and Applications.

I'd like to switch to GO SMS, but the only thing making it annoying to make the change is that I can't figure out how to switch that default messaging icon along the bottom to launch GO SMS.

Is there anyway I can do that? Or change those Icons in general so I could have email down there instead of contacts etc.
