Maybe I'm missing something cause I've had to revert back to my prevail which is way ass old... BUT how the hell do I root this stupid thing on linux, I originally did it on a winblows comp but have since got my act together and went back to *nix

Maybe I'm running the wrong *.sh file? If anyone can give me a good link for the one-click or else tell me WTF I may be doing wrong?

here is what I'm getting

demonic@demonic-GA-78LMT-S2P:~/Desktop$ ./Linux-Mac.sh
based off the admire exploit found here Security Research by Dan Rosenberg

Newer stock firmware plugged that exploit.
Currently the only way to get root on the latest firmware is to install custom recovery, install the su and superuser.apk, and rip and disassemble the kernel, mod it to enable root, repack it, then flash the root enabled kernel.

Or just flash the rooted stock image with ODIN (which of course requires windows)

Edit: Sorry, corporate OS market share strikes again :(

BASTARDS (boost)...ok now how bout this can I do it in wine or do I have put together a pos with winblows on it just to root it? anyone tried to do it in wine?

Don't blame Boost. Blame Samsung. Remember, Odin is a leaked copy of an app for Samsung's internal use. It's meant for their production line (hence why it will load multiple devices simultaneously
