Hey ! I was wandering if there is a free android app that allows you both to watch Youtube videos/listen to Youtube music without ads and to download some content.

i doubt it. youtube is owned by google and this would seem to go against their policy. you can download youtube videos, no need for another app. not sure on youtube music, but imagine it is the samething.

NewPipe is the best bet for this.

Of course, Google hates this, so they regularly sabotage in multiple ways.

Never fear, the guys at NewPipe work tirelessly to keep the app working.

Sometimes it takes minutes, hours, or a day or two- I seem to remember a four day stint before- but you can follow the progress on GitHub.

Also, the app has the ability to notify the user of updates.
  9. Search Google for SnapTube - With this app you can D/L any video in .mp3, or video format. Also, it does not display ads during the videos, only one 5-sec ad at the start of the program.

NewPipe has no ads, and is open source.
It also has no Google junk with it.

I seriously doubt that Google would provide an app that allows free downloads of videos from Youtube, as they own Youtube- and it is a violation of the terms of service.
