Help water damaged phone.....help needed

Hi All,

Dropped my desire in water last weekend....it got completely drowned!!
Now i dried it out and luckily i had a spare battery so i put that in it and everything works fine.

......except one thing.......

Although the battery life seems roughly about right through normal use, with the phone in airplane mode or even turned off it still uses the same amount of battery???

Now have i missed something in the settings that is doing this or is this simply a consequence of water damage...and if so any tips on improving it as it is being charged far too often ATM....

Well, you DID drop your electronic device into water. There are bound to be problems that arise because of that.

Check the status of Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS, are they off ??

I dropped mine too at the toilet bowl, and now it's not working, what will i do" is there any chance it will work again?
