Help What folder dos music go in?

im trying to put music on my desire and where ever i put it, it doesn't appear. For example if i add it to MP3 and look in that folder its not there? Any suggestions. Thanks

I had the same issue so i left it on the MP3 directory.

It worked but it looks a bit messy.

I managed to put some mp3 songs on my desire.

I plugged into the USB of my laptop, set Desire to be a Disk Drive it mapped as drive F:

i opened the folder MP3 from drive F: and say a few folders (preloadedmusic)
created the Lady gaga Folder and stuck all the MP3's into it.
closed app
started Music app and listed songs, hey presto Lady Gaga listed.

Simples...;-)

Music can go in any folder. I made a new folder called music and placed it all in there. Turn your phone off and on again and see if the music is visible then

.....or use SDscan app to access new additions to the sd card, without having to reboot the phone

SDscan? Country/device specific? Can't find it in the Market (T-Mobile/UK/Desire/2.1)

Thanks - got to love the fact that Google can't write a search utility in the market that would suggest "sdrescan" when you search for "sdscan".
