just got phone from china and the specs do not match much of what seems to be amaze 4g, inside says made in taiwan p/n 99hej092Etc s/n ht843gn49902, cpuabi armabi mt6573. running android system info tells me 238mb rom 443mb ram os is android 4.0.3 & build no. is grk39f. details in settings basebound version is maui.11amd etc dated 2011/11/29, kernel version 2.6.35.7 build no. htc amaze 4g dual core 1.5ghz 576ram & 12gb ram. is this a total poor copy or just a different version? any help appreciated. also having problem getting access to google play store as it stops unexpectedly even google help cannot suggest any fix

Sorry to say, but it sounds like you got a fake. Also, NO amaze has ICS yet.
