Flashing Fixes or Updates?

How do you Flash these? For example, I'm running Fresh 2.1.2 at the moment but the Wireless Tether don't work and I downloaded a fix he apparently has. Do I Nandroid Backup, Wipe and Flash the fix or can I just flash the fix without the wipe. Thanks.

When flashing a fix or an upgrade for the same rom, you don't have to wipe. But do make a nandroid backup incase something goes wrong.

Unless you have a nandroid that is exactly what you are running, you don't need 2 of the exact same nandroid backups. And Pinoy is correct, just put the zip on the root of the sd, boot to recovery, and (nandroid if necessary) then flash from zip.

The only reason to make a nandroid now is.... well, there isn't one, unless you never made one. I've only made one nandroid and that was right after rooting the stock Rom. Now I have made backups of other roms but that's different.
