No Google Wallet on Verizon GN

Once again Google has no backbone in this whole process. Verizon has bent them over and they just don't care. At this point in the mobile phone game Verizon needs Google much more than Google needs Verizon. They have just destroyed the Nexus name. At least we will be able to root and get Google Wallet. How could Google let them do all this to the phone? and on top of it they have not promoted it what so ever. If you didn't lurk on forums you would hardly know this phone even exists. Then they take away a bunch of key advantages of having the Nexus. Just pray to something or someone that Verizon is not involved in the update process what so ever.

Really? So what ones have Google Wallet support? Just the locked GSM ones?

EDIT: I just read its not included in the GSM versions because Google Wallet is only available in the USA so obvious buying an unlocked one overseas will not have support because its not meant for the USA. But you can root and get Google Wallet on your phone but it is against their TOS but whatever.

Yay for leaping great distances to ridiculous conclusions!

A) the phone isn't out for Verizon. Why do you suspect Verizon has anything to do with this issue?

B) Why do you think this is some kind of permanent OR influenced decision, and not simply an issue of Google deciding that Wallet isn't quite ready to be rolled out for prime time yet?

C) Google is promoting the Nexus through advertisement. Verizon is not promoting the Nexus because it's not released yet. Of course they're not going to promote it.

Because they back ISIS and deem other options "insecure."

Well, it (as an app/system) is already out and working well in the US. Launched with the Nexus S 4G on Sprint and is only officially on that phone (exclusivity maybe?).

They could build hype (presuming they actually want to sell any) like they do for their Droid line...
