I'll be getting the 32GB version. What color are you going to buy? I'm undecided right now. It's a toss up between the white and aluminum vesions.

I'm likely going to order but am going to wait. Some of it is a monetary issue -- I'll have some extra money in mid-October and will still be able to get the $50 credit then. The remainder is not fully trusting Huawei and hoping to see some reviews before I order the phone. I plan on getting the Aluminum, unless I change my mind, or there is a several month longer wait.

I've now ordered mine, a Frost, 64GB, with a date of Nov. 5-9. I had a tough time choosing between Frost and Aluminium and really wish there were a better way to see what each color actually looks like. I decided I preferred Frost by a hair, and it didn't hurt that the estimated ship date was 3-4 weeks instead of 4-5.

The more I see of the 6P, the more I'm liking it.

I ordered mine with a N0v. 10-12 arrival date. Initially I saw a hold on my credit card account, now I don't see anything. Should I be concerned??

No concern at all. You will again see a charge for the same amount when the device ships :)
That is how it works. The initial figure is just a post to make sure the account is OK.

Well, so far im underwhelmed. Coming from a Note 3, its not that much of a difference. The screen is the same size, but the phone is taller to allow for the two front mounted speakers. Screen picture looks about the same, web page and youtube page speeds seem the same, so I need to have a good play over the next 2 weeks to see if im gonna keep or go for the Note 4 instead.

Two weeks should give you a good idea of whether it's worth keeping.

Is the 6P easier to use as a result of its being slightly narrower than the Note 3? The width of the Nexus 6 was one of the main problems with it, according to many consumers.

Another problem with the 6P's predecessor was screen burn-in. Have you noticed any image retention or burn-in? Apparently they can start happening within the first few days of using a 6P.

The Note 3 is wide, so yes the 6P is easier to use, but it was never an issue for me. I love big phones, so im used to their bulk. See how we go. As for burn out, no sign yet so will keep an eye out for it.
