Best buy is clueless about second shipment

Pre-ordered June 1st expecting to get it on the 9th but got nothing. Called BB today and they got a few in today but they're not allowed to sell until tomorrow the 11th. WTH????

Its almost closing time and I have not gotten an appointment call and I'm getting worried....

I am a pretty patient guy but this is ridiculous.

Anybody got their 2nd shipment evo from BB?
Anybody still waiting??

My friend just got a call from a Sprint Store that they just got a shipment in today and that he can come on down to buy it. I'm not sure why they arent able to sell it until tomorrow. Annoying I'm sure...but just think...one more day....finally!

By the way, just go in to BB tomorrow. Their customer service is often shoddy, but you WILL get your phone whether you have an appt. or not.

I'm not even sure about tomorrow, they should've called me already.

If anything I will just walk in there tomorrow and be like "today is the day, here is my palm, please place evo here"

Same here. Best Buy told me that the next shipment would come in on June 8th but now they are saying they are expecting it to arrive tomorrow morning. They will call and set up appts once they receive the phones.

Got back from Sprint store an Hr ago getting my Body Glove case.
Said they had 10 in today, and all sold out already.
Dont know why BB cant sell them when they arrive.
Maybe they want to make sure previous pre orders or returned damaged phones are filled first.

Still waiting on a call from BB also. I had a feeling something like this would happen so I'm happy that I went to RS at 4am on June 4th and got them without preorder. I was actually checking out with my 2 evo's when the 6am preorder walked in the door.

I have 2 preorders with BB. Dad will probably get one and I will probably cancel the other.

BB got the short stick for allocations and Sprint stores in some areas and RS got too many.

They are not as much clueless as they are incredulous to getting less
allocation.

I have my name on the "waiting list" at Best Buy in Irvine, CA. Supposedly there are around 30 people in front of me. I called them today and they claimed they haven't received anything for several days.

hell i got my name on 3 sprint stores and 2 BB. and neither one has called me. im starting to think they full of crap....thinking about driving 30miles to wal-mart and getting it.
