Just wondering if anybody else is onboard with me with this Droid X as the final deal breaker?
I've owned every android phone Verizon has ever release. I am not sure if thats a good thing or bad thing. But none the less I always end up going back to blackberry. Original Moto Droid I liked, but I never used the bulky keyboard and eventually got rid of it. The droid incredible was the longest lasting one I had for about 2.5 weeks. The deal breaker for that was the battery (i'm talking less than 40% at lunch on minimal usage, with connections off besides network), outside display, and non video light for camera, I figured even when froyo 2.2 fixes the video light, there goes my battery drain even faster, so that phone was sold as well. So here I am back on my Blackberry Bold 9650 awaiting another droid release but this one seems like's it perfected everything that I previously hated about droid.
Just wondering if there's any other crackberry-a-holics out there that are die hard fans but are techy people. The new Blackberry Bold does everything it should do and nothing more. It's a solid device, outdated specs compared to the droids, but is a solid reliable phone with a battery that lasts a few days with heavy use. But VERY BORING, extremely boring not to mention the browser is so so slow. Blackberry is light years behind droids yet why is it so hard to make the switch? I can't pin point what it is I love about blackberry, perhaps the simplicity of it but Droid and Apple are in a whole other ball park.
I'm hoping this droid x will be the phone that actually keeps me with the droid market because i'm a huge fan of the android OS its just the hardware issues on the phones that are keeping me from converting. 720 Video recording, good battery, a cell phone as a router?!?, HD connection, huge display, video light (coming soon), bigger keyboard for easier typing... the list could go on and on how this phone towers over it's competition....
