Root Newly rooted, can't access email settings

Just rooted with z4 and did a backup with bootstrap. Everything was normal for a few days then I noticed problems with my email and facebook messages not pushing automatically like they used to. I went into: messaging, message settings and i try to tap on "email" but the option is gray and i'm unable to select it. I did a battery pull and went to that same location and WAS able to select email. From there i checked the settings and they were fine. Problem not solved...so I went back into: messaging, message settings and i try to tap on "email" again but its gray and i'm unable to select it once again.

Any help?
