Nexus S Sounds do not work

Hi

I am running Andorid 4.04 on my Nexus S and I can't get the System sounds to work only the dial pad tones work and nothing else.

I have checked the volumes and have tried enableing and disableing the options but it's still the same problem.

Anyone else had this issue or know what is going on here?
