Help Phone and app info erases......why?

Ok this has happened a few times now so I thought i'd post about it. here's my problem.

I notice that sometimes data on my phone has deleted itself. Thankfully not contacts but randomly i find my notes completely deleted, some settings changed to default, and I've had to add my twitter account on tweetcaster because it was removed. What is causing this? I'm trying to find correlation between my phone completely dying on me and this but im not sure if this is the issue. At first this seemed to be it but since it's happened even when my phone didn't die. Plus if it did happen to die which doesn't happen often why the heck would it delete my crap. Any input on this guys?

faulty sd card or an app with too many permissions gone wild...i would suspect the first

You may also have to factory reset your phone. If it is a software issue, it may be something you can't correct yourself. I mean, it is a computer at heart. Errors will happen.
