@Nodders and Lekky How do you get the red font in Astrid? I can't find the option anywhere. Thanks.
how do you people do that folder thing?
I can make a folder and add programs, but always have a standard folder icon.
Use the app "Folder Organizer" to create a Label, give it a custom icon, select the apps you want to appear in that label, then add a new widget on the home screen, select "Folder Organizer Label", pick the one you just created.
The red text is for tasks that you haven't completed yet and are past the notification date. Its bad to have red text
How do you get the Astrid widget view - I can only get a shortcut icon :-(
Menu -> Add (add to home screen) -> widget -> select Astride
WiFi Anal ? ,i think i`ll give that one a miss.
Hey lekky, what is that light bulb app for?
many thanks galfwender for the art link from mynameishalo's Gallery amazing stuff!
what is your widget of the android? (showing 140m etc)
Its one of the task killers showing how much free memory he has. Can't remember the name of that particular one myself tho
So this thread made me re-evaluate my homescreens, gone for a more zen feel!
I'm also using a great home replacement called ADW Launcher from the market. Its really fast and looks good. It also has an icon tray that can fit 6 icons in. Look in the main picture to see this. You get to it by dragging down on the main app tray launcher as seen in the other screenshots
Thanks to the guys who posted screens btw, I found a couple good apps I haden't heard about before
Main-3 is empty
That's what I was expecting to do - Add -> Widget -> No Astrid on the list?
Perhaps a reboot required since installing Astrid?
Edit : Aye, it's available after a reboot.
Keep posting 'em in here people - this is really good - I was at a loss on how to use my homescreens, but seeing what you widgetmaniacs have done is fantastic! I'm getting all sorts of ideas on how I can get more out of my phone!
Hey Lekky, what is the schedule app in main -3 and the light bulb looking icon in main +3??
It looks great thanks!
Lekky, do you have an appbrain list?
maxi the light bulb is toggle widget for the LED, bascially a torch app. V simple just on/off think its called LED Light on the market.
However that doesn't show apps I have that are not available on the market it seems..
Here's mine, non-rooted Desire so had to install the developers kit mentioned earlier in the thread...
those are some cool icons =) better get together where u got em from as im sure ppl will ask hehe.
also i tried the dev kit and couldnt get it to work on vista 64bit oh well!
Icons are called Buuf and Buuf Gnome by Manhattan. You can get them here and here
You have to apply them individually using Better Cut though so it can take a bit of trial and error. Plus you'll have to put a .nomedia file in the Buuf icon folder after you've set them up to stop them showing up in your photo gallery.
Decided to try PandaHome.. Can't decide if I prefer this to the Helix2 setup posted earlier.. Very minimal and tidy but with everything I need still available right from the home screen..
Left dock panel
Right dock panel
here is mine
I not got much on the other screens so only shown main screen
Sorry, what's that calender app (and settings perhaps?) your using there?...thanks!
