Well, I would say that from now on, just make sure that you have got somewhat of a decent battery life when doing any type of "flashing" on your phone.
I am glad that you are at least able to get your phone on now. If it didn't work, just hook it up and try flashing again. I should work. As said before, as long as you can get to the boot load screen you should be okay.
Make sure you are using a wall charger and not a computer to charge it. Works a lot better in these cases. I wouldnt suggest flashing anything especially an sbf with less than 40% of your battery.
everything seems to be ok now. i lost all of my text messages/call logs but i still have all of my contacts/photos. Just happy i didn't kill my phone.
I just updated back to stock 2.1 and just put everything back to the way it was before. I'm a car guy so I felt way over my head with this file work stuff.
If there are any people that are in the Twin Cities area that would be willing to root my phone for me that would be way better haha.
Just keep in mind that whenever you flash, either through a recovery or SBF, your phone DOES NOT charge. If your phone dies while flashing, it'll be a problem, obviously more so on an SBF flash, because that can potentially brick your phone--with a bad ROM flash you can just go back into recovery and start over.
