Root what the best firmware for galaxy

on galaxo, how long battery life is? 1-2-3 days?

There are days when I have to plug the charger in at 5pm while other days I forget to charge and still have battery life in the morning. It all depends how and what you use your phone for. However, most days I do make it comfortably on full charge and do plug charger before bed.

Another vote for Galaxo!

I browse the web and listen to songs on the hour long commute to work, and again back from work. I have no problems as long as I leave it plugged in overnight. After I unplug it in the morning, it'll usually last till I plug it back in about 11pm that night.

I've had it die before 5pm before, but that was with some heavy downloading on wifi, and messing around with it for a few hours.

If I just use it as a phone, the battery will last 2 days instead of one, but then I only make/take about 3 calls a day.

It normally drains at 4th days with fully charged. (about 10-20 short calls a day, half hour playing per day.)

Performance test with 700 Mhz

neocore 3D testing: 29.5 frames/per sec. with sound. And 33.8 without sound. (better than HTC and Nexes One, although screen resolution is difference, but I am satisfied with it.)

Quadrant: 320 marks. :D

An3Dbench: 2500 marks. :D

Linpack: 0.9 ....:(

Anyway, JIT is disabled, otherwise it may have a better performance.

Anyway, I have installed some application and setting to control the battery consuming, e.g. Install Advanced task killer.. ,disable the Autosync in data sync while my phone is not connecting to internet, using 2G network,...etc.

For my feeling of galaxo, same battery consuming speed as 1.6 with a better performance and beautiful frames.
:)

Ofc you must turn off autosync, brightnes, etc
