Need a little help. I have a 16 gb sd card but main memory keeps going lower and lower. Everything I download goes to my sd card and when it installs it doesn't give me an option where to install...I'm assuming its being installed on sd card but my main memory is down to 117 mb. When I go to apps installed on main memory the ones I download aren't there so doesn't look like its going to my main memory but something has to be using it up

Apps2SD is not going to be available until Froyo is released, so all apps are currently being installed to the internal storage.

Ah ok...well that sucks. Will we able to just move them or are we going to have to reinstall and lose everything?

Also why don't they show up under app folder in main memory?

Wish I had the answers for you, but unfortunately I don't. Only answer I knew was that Apps couldn't be installed to micro SD right now, but it was a highlighted option mentioned for Froyo.

They should be under a system or data folder in your main memory.

From what I've heard/read, it sounds like you'll be able to move them. I have not confirmed this however.

Ok thanks fellas...guess ill have to take it easy on the apps. Is apps the only thing? Media and everything is still on sd card and not hid in any folders is it?

Yup. Just "installing" apps, but if you use a program that's not from the market (e.g. Swype), the files actually store on the SD card. I noticed it with the Swype Installer, when I first downloaded Swype.

Like Kelmar said below, media is on SD card (Although, even though I haven't done it yet, I'd imagine if you root your phone you'd be able to store media on the phone, much like WinMO...but I can't see any reason to do that).

Media is on SD card, correct. It's not in any hidden folders.

Try Astro from the market to search your SD card if you want. :)

To give another option for a File Viewer that doesn't have a Task Killer, you can also use File Manager, which is in the market as well.
