Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

Oh Crap, called Verizon Business Support and I have a tracking number. Just this morning Fedex picked up the package, I am in sunny SoCal. Calling my companys Fedex Sales rep to see if they can just hold it at the facility for me....

Just checked tracking and its from WEST CHESTER, PA.

Great that it didn't ship from the Ontario distribution center. Oh well, at least it shippied.

not much to say, there simply isn't any new info out there, so I expect everyone to get their phones within 5 days of there ship date.

Oh well, maybe something will break today, like FROYO or something to keep us going.

Wait, what? Mine is coming from West Chester as well, but that sort of makes sense since i'm in VA. Their distribution is messed up if they're shipping from PA to CA!

If yours is coming from Pennsylvania, mines probably coming from Alaska Jk obviously, mine will probably be Pennsylvania too haha. At least you have two day though.

Goodmorning everyone, just wanted to let you know that this phone is exactly what its called INCREDIBLE. I went to the Apple Store yesterday and did a little side by side comparison of the two phones. To be totally honest, the only thing the Iphone has over the Incredible is that it has a front facing camera, other than that there is nothing to envy the Iphone for. The reason I say this is because I'm an Apple fan, I have a macbook and will never go back to Windows computers as long as I'm alive (it would be like going back with my exwife) NEVER HAPPEN! So for those of you still waiting, take a deep breath, relax, listen to some relaxing music, because when you finally do get your phone your gonna be glued to it, you wont have time for your wife, your husband, your kids, your grandma or anyone else, it will just be you and your Dinc. ENJOY THE MOMENT!!!

Hey everyone, looks like things are picking up. On the Verizon website, it says phones will ship by 8/3 as of 7/16. That is about 2 and a half weeks away. The Droid X is set back about a week. So it looks like you guys may get your phones a lot faster than they originally quoted you.

I got the same email when I sent them one asking about my status...but it has been shipped. I would suggest you call and ask and see what they say. I never heard an announcement on 611 and never actually got a shipping email, but mine is on its way.

W00t!!!! Only question I have now is, do 2-day shipments go out on the Express trucks or the Ground trucks? The express driver usually gets here mid-morning and the ground guy doesn't come until late afternoon. I can't wait!!

its on the express truck and I suggest to flag down the driver, tell him its a 2 day, you really want it, and see if he can call back to the shipping center and have them pull it for you!

If I remember correctly, Ground and Express are two different services entirely...Express=Air Next Day, 2 Day...Ground=Ground (Whenever it gets there by truck)

Coming from a few years working for UPS...you'd be surprised how often stuff moves quicker...Ground shipping which technically is a "Guaranteed Slower travel" method will often arrive next day or two day depending on how close it is...the difference is that Next Day is Guaranteed by 10:30am, whereas Ground is guaranteed by End of Business. People used to save a lot of dough shipping from DC up to NYC by using Ground which still got there next day for a lot cheaper...It all depended on how far away it was, how rural it was, and what time of year it was...

Man...sorry about the shipping lesson...can you tell I'm waiting on pins and needles for my phone?
