Help Time to boot phone

Hello,

did anyone notice a very long boot time after the updates of the phone, or is there something wrong with my phone?

I know is a bit late asking but it never came up to my mind to ask this on the forum...

Thanks

Every single smartphone I have had took a long time to boot, that is how it is. It needs to load the whole operating system and that takes a long time.

How many times a day do you boot your phone? Me? once in 4-5 days so I do not see it as an issue.

P.S. Is there ANYTHING in this phone you have not thought was a defect at all? Are you sure smartphones are for you?

And you learn about flight mode.

Obviously you never went on a plane in your life, as they warn you:
"switch off all electronic devices during take-off and landing..."

Although many times i left it accidentally on (not even on flight mode) and of course nothing happened, if the staff demand to do so, we should switch them off...

you never hear what they say on airplanes do you?

"Please close all electronic devices, mobiles, mp3 players, cd players, game consoles etc..."

So its not a matter of the signal, they just dont want anything to be on for a reason, and passengers should respect this...

Oh my!

lol sorry but had too :p

The major problems are that the mobile phones or other electronic devices may interfere with aircraft systems or computers due to poor or missing shielding and so cause a catastrophic failure of the control mechanisms. There have been few instances where a definite link between device use and system failures have been proven and in those cases where a correlation has been shown it has tended to be where shielding was in fact not present, of bad quality or had been compromised.

further more I guess your guilty of not wanting to die lol :p

Flight mode is a setting available on many cell phones and other electronic devices that, when engaged, suspends many of the device's signal transmitting functions – thereby disabling the device's capacity to place or receive calls or text messages – while still permitting use of other functions that do not require signal transmission (e.g., games, built-in camera, MP3 player). The name is derived from the fact that it permits the user to operate the device while on board a commercial aircraft while in flight, where the operation of cell phones and other devices that send or receive signals is generally prohibited due to the potential impact on aircraft avionics and the potential for interference with ground cell networks. Other names include airplane mode, offline mode, and standalone mode. FM Receiver, Bluetooth, wireless LAN antenna and GPS should still be operative if the phone is so equipped. Nevertheless certain airlines specifically prohibit the use of devices with a 'Flight mode' at all times. Other devices with flight mode are the iPod Touch and other devices similar to it

If only you flew as much as I do, you would know. I often asked them if I can leave the phone in flight mode and they said - sure, if it is in flight mode it is fine.

Only once they asked me to turn it off completely - once out of 100 flight I have had.
