k I have a small problem

i've rooted my Desire on o2 have version 0.80 of the boot loader

I applied the defrost rom version 2.7 following this guide

Droid Den - Phone Guide: How To Install Rooted Android 2.2 On Your HTC Desire - Droid Den

it went through applying the ROM but now I just have it stuck on the o2 splash screen and going no further.

Can't seem to find a backup.zip anywhere on my ROM and tho to back out the change.

What's the best way to go? reflash again and hope for the best?

The new roms can take anywhere up to 7 minutes to boot first time, try dropping the battery out & restart the phone.
Remember to give it a reasonable amount of time, go make a cup of tea or coffee.
If still no luck try either reflashing or a different rom.

Yeah agree. When I first started playing, my missus was like "whats up" and I was like "GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR I've f***ed my phone... Oh my go, oh my god".

Now its more like "ha, broken it agaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaain" I don't even worry. Its almost care free now.

:p Not just me then :D

Honestly, If I get in a boot loop now or have a crash, the main thing that runs through my mind now is what ROM to use and can I do it without the Missus moaning that I've 'Broke it again' :D

guess you have the free version? it's not tedious with the paid one, sit back and let it do its work.

I have 'Batch' Options but its not all it Seems. I want to be able to pick the apps from the list, and them let it install them automatically, with out me needing to click 'Install' then 'App and Data' then 'Done' for each Individual app. Does the Paid Version do this Type of Batch Install?

The nightmare for me when i flash a new rom is that when i try to import all my contacts from SD (Before flashing a new rom i export contacts to SD) When the contacts are imported all the phone numbers have -'s inserted into the numbers eg: 077-123-4567. This doesnt cause problems when making calls on the handset cos the desire just corrects it but when i sync up to my bluetooth car kit, the car kit just says call failed and its because of the -'s! Has anyone else ever came across this problem or know of a fix? I tried to import contacts that i had taken off my nokia n95 and the -'s were still inserted.

Any ideas folks?

Thanks
