Graphics Benchmark for G2 Shows It Should Be Blazin'

Any one know if they will make the EVO faster or uncapped the set limit as we are the slowest in this test?

Admittedly, I was a little disappointed to discover the G2's new Snapdragon processor is only clocked at 800MHz, but according to leaked figures from GLBenchmarks, the graphics should run at the same speed as Motorola's Droid X and 2.

To dig further into the G2's innards, it's got one of Qualcomm's new 45nm MSM7230 processors, which has not been seen in any other phone until now

These scores don't mean anything. The MyTouch Slide scoring better than the Captivate means nothing.

Its not better than the Droid 2 in this test.

The gpu is the same one thats in the X and D2. Most of us knew this about the Droid vs. the Inc months ago, it having a better gpu. If I'm not mistaken, in the X and D2 its clocked a lil higher compared to the D1.

What I cant wrap my head around is the Inc having a better score on this test vs. the EVO when they use the exact same cpu/gpu. The FPS cap is affecting it that bad? And wth is this test measuring that the MyTouch scores that high???

And yea, whatever this test is testing doesnt say everything cuz the gpu in the Samsung phones is the best, I dont really know how it compares to the Vision tho.

The current Galaxy S chips are better than Adreno 205,quite a bit bettet actually. Adreno 205 is second right behind the samsumg chips.
