Don't the Apple fanboys always strike first? It seems they can't wait for anyone to "bash" their phone just so they can repeat the same drivle over and over again

So, I got my replacement phone yesterday. The display is better than my original (better contrast). Data connection works (reason why I had to replace the phone) and is actually better than it's ever been. Now I have a phone to use to satisfy my flashing addiction for a few days.

Cool. Is it SLCD or AMOLED? I never did hear how that all went, whether the DI was getting the SLCD or not.

The Incredible is now getting SLCD, and the units with SLCD should be HW rev 3. I got a rev 2 with AMOLED. According to the EPST data the manufacturing date is 8/2/2010 and no refurbishment data, Life Timer was 25+ HR, and Life Data RX > 9G so it's definitely been used. At least I didn't get any new problems (that I've found) and it is working better than my original ever did. My Life RX Data is now over 12G - been hitting the network hard.

When I was at the VZW store on Friday, I tried to compare my phone's display with the store's demo model. I couldn't tell much difference, however I believe the on in the store was also AMOLED. Didn't think to get into the phone info to check though.

I quit reading that thread long before the change was officially announced, so I know where you're coming from.

What NightAngel said. The powers that be decided that all the device specific "lounge" threads belong in the Lounge forum to try to lessen the cliques. Not that I've seen much difference.

Yeah now I am bro. I got into a fight with a flight of stairs and lost. Hit my head on the way down, landed on my back, knocked out, I then threw up and it came back down into my lungs. The hotel manager found me and called 911. I was in a coma and on life support for 3 days. My wife (being 8 months pregnant ) traveled 2100 miles, from ga to tx to be by my side until I got released. But where I hit my head I head bleeding on my brain, and where I had threw up set up pneumonia. The bleeding stopped first but this dang pneumonia is still lingering. All in all, the Dr.s and everyone says I'm lucky to even still be alive.
