New Moto Droid Owner

Hi all,

New Moto Droid owner here, and loving the device!

I actually work for VZW, been with the company for about 6 months. Working in Westchester Cty NY. Coming from a Samsung Omnia i910, which initially was a sweet device, but I need a physical QWERTY, and just couldn't deal with the inherent lag that seems to plague all WM phones.

I've got pretty extensive experience with advanced devices, & this phone is truly the first that packs the power to be used in every way advertised. Even in comparison to the iPhone, this thing zips, and literally even with 10-15 apps running it loses VERY minimal performance. I've been putting it through its paces and it is very impressive.

It's going to be interesting seeing how the industry, Apple included, responds to the Droid.

so sweet to hear this and I cant wait to get mine in early 2010 as a Milestone in Canada.Tried to do a multi-tasking on my Iphone 3g today ,still couldn't,maybe I'll try again tomorrow. To kill my boredom I think I'll try to look for a Multi-tasking app.I am sure I could find 1 out of 100,000, lol' what an ancient and boring device.
