ok so i finally decided to take the dive and purchase this beautiful beautiful lil app...love it already. just have a few q's to help me get some fps up.

and my droid is pretty crappy to begin with VM intercept.

overall it runs pretty smooth on my phone. just looking for that few extra fps to make the games more playable and videos more watchable. any tips on doing this? does my desktop screen reso effect performance? i did read somewhere to keep 100mb free on phone...does this help? looking for any input.

Yes. The most important thing is to make sure your home internet connection has a good upload speed, and that your phone is either on a fast wifi or 4g.

yeah been trying it with wifi on. i get 1 meg upload. i was askin more about the screen resolution....

A lower screen res on your PC means less data will have to be uploaded = faster.

You should try free-for-personal-use Teamviewer. They just released a Beta app for Android today. Install it on your Android phone, and the appropriate server software on your PC, start 'm up, exchange ID and password, and away you go.
Obviously it isn't fast, depending on connections, and the screen real estate on a phone sucks of course, but hey! it is Remote Desktop Operation software, and it works! Even without Wi-Fi! And it's free too!
Can't go wrong.
