Root Gold Card Query

K i'm following the instructions here

I've created a gold card and downloaded the generic ROM as advised but it keeps on coming up with incorrect version when trying to run the .exe.

IS there an easy way to check to see if my goldcard actually works?

Put your card in a card reader and stick it in a Windows machine. A file called LOST.DIR and a .footprint should have now have appeared in your file browser, if you have them it is definitely a goldcard.

Those are added by Android and have NOTHING to do with it being a gold card. To the OP, if you're getting CID errors when trying to flash the RUU then your gold card isn't working so try again

Can definitely confirm the gold card creation was unsuccessful. Those files are android files

I rooted my DEsire using Unrevocked3 and did the goldcard some weeks later. If I'm not right, how do I know my goldcard is a goldcard?
