Help Freezing all the time :(

I had removed some VZW apps but can't recall which ones. I don't know if that's what's causing the freezing, but I swear at least 3-4 times a day I have to remove the battery and restart.

I am rooted, on DJ01 and running the GPS fix.

If I restore the stock image that's out there, will I lose:

A) Root
B) GPS fix

Also, I'd love to run either a stupidfast kernel or Voodoo5 (but I want to be able to restore Nandroid images), because the lag is killing me.

Any ideas?

Bearly that is not right nor normal.
You said DJ01 but its either DI01 or DJ05, do you know which?
Battery should never have to be pulled from a stable kernel and rom.
If you lose anything you can of course get it right back

Sorry, it is DI01.

I am thinking:

Ti Backup (apps+data)
SMS Backup (I need it)

Flash stock ROM
Restore Ti apps
Re-apply GPS fix for DI01 (if needed)

(I don't need to re-root, do I?)

Does that sound right?

Can I apply a stupidfast kernel for DI01 to combat the lag I have?

This is really frustrating me :(

Yes stupidfast should help quite a bit.
