I have it, but can't really tell yet! I doubt its going to be much of a difference. Now an 1800mAh battery from HTC express would make for a nice difference.

I would jump on an 1800mAH battery in a second if it didn't require a new (larger) battery door. Has an 1800 been confirmed by HTC Express, or are you just assuming?

I would too if it was confirmed to really be 1800 mAh and not just marketing puffery like the Seidio. Does HTC Express have a better rep than Seidio?

I just ordered 3 1500maH batteries and a wall charger for $11. I ordered the same bundle for my htc incredible and it was a life save while traveling.

I took extra batteries with me to CES this year and ended up having to loan 2 of them to people on our executive team who have Evo's. Needless to say when we returned everyone ordered extra batteries.

Someone, I can't remember which member said he spoke to someone within the company VIA email and they did in fact say they would be producing something for the TB within the next few weeks. I don't doubt it, they already have batteries available for the incredible, EVO, and a few others, so I just think its a matter of time.

Take the Sedio rating, multiply by 0.8, and that is about what you actually get. The Seidio 1600 is actually 1300-1400mAh tops, not 1600, fyi. It does not have more capacity than the stock battery.

That was me, sir. I spoke to ChiChiTek via email and he told me within a couple weeks they should have something "bigger" for the Thunderbolt. I assumed by "bigger" he meant an 1800 because
A. they already sell a 1500
B. I specifically asked about a bigger battery that fits under the stock back.

Considering they already offer an 1800 for the Inc/EVO that fit under the stock back (snuggly, but it fits) I don't see why the TB should be any different.

I got my Seidio 1600 Friday. I charged it with the phone off for five hours (the LED went green almost as soon as I plugged it in, but I wanted to leave it for a bit), bumped it once that night and again in the morning.

I turned the phone on Saturday morning and mostly let it sit. I was really looking at standby time. Since I've turned it on I've had a couple of updates from the BBC two or three e-mails a half hour of surfing and a couple of downloads from the Amazon App store. I'm in a solid 4G area.

I am currently at 29.5 hours since I unplugged the cable and 40% battery.

I don't know if the Seido is that much better, the HTC stock battery is crap or this is a fluke. I'll charge up again tonight and try it tomorrow with some harder use. I'm sure I'll be hitting the hotspot so we will see how that goes.

But, if this is representative, I'll be very pleased with the Seido indeed.

After my 30 minute commute (with lots of rerouting, I deliberately used a bogus destination to test the Nav program) I was down ~30%. I'm down another 30% after two hours in the office with the hotspot and bluetooth on.

We'll see how things go from here.

With those items running you cant expect but so much.. They pull a lot of juice on any android unit.... Even with my old Droid I only used the GPS with a car charger...lol

Don't know if these numbers are bad considering that there is a warning screen when you open hotspot up to plug in due to the drain on battery. Gotta be bad if it is telling you such a thing.

I'm not sure, it feels about the same. I have not put the stock battery through the same test. I'll give that a try later in the week.

If I were making recomendations right now, I'd say hold off on the Seidio.

Ok I used the Siedio 1600 battery for a few days...sorry to report that it is not any better then the stock, IMO its actually worse then the stock 1400mAh battery. I know it can sometimes take a week or so to condition, but after 2 days of a ton of charges, and bump charges, I can only squeeze about 4 hours out of it. However I'm getting almost 8 hrs out of my stock with hardcore heavy use, and about 10/11 hrs with moderate use.

Yea I'm actually going to do an exchange tomorrow because of some crazy network issues, so I will start the new phone off fresh with the Siedio and see what happens after 10 days or so.

Bluetooth and WiFi are both off unless I'm using the hotspot (which, I guess is a different kind of WiFi...)

I'm getting much better time now. On a day when I do not use the hotspot or navigation, I'll be at 35-40% after 10 hours. I'm not going to try and A-B with the HTC battery for awhile. I'll let the Seidio burn in for another week and then maybe switch.

So far I'm happy. That doesn't mean that I would have been less happy with the stock battery.

The biggest user of battery on this thing is restarting it. I dont know if I should believe where the battery was before a restart, or after.
