My Eris made it under 3 feet of snow for three weeks the winter of "10" no harm do you guys think that my droid x can handle being 45 feet deep at the bottom of the cd canal on Marylands upper eastern shore or should I let it stay there and not pay a diver 350.00 hr to try to find. For $350, buy a new X off ebay or craigslist.

i dont think he is trying to cover his ass....just think he gets information about changes, and is trying to warn us. as long as you are not illegally tethering or uncapping you data, you will be fine. no one has the right to tell us what we can and cannot do with our phones (see the jailbraking case for the iphone) however they do have the right to tell us what we can and cannot do with thier network...you know illegally stealing 3G (even if we do get unlimited 3G it does not state we can use the 3G how we want to in our contracts) and uncapping our data.

reason I say he is trying to cover his ass has to deal with the fact that he profited off of selling an app which gives you a hack to use the stock mobile hotspot app for free...
not something like the wireless tether for root users which doesnt use the stock hotspot app.
