Shadow Guardian HD now available

Yeah definitely, Gameloft games seem optimized most for the Galaxy S. But anyone with a slower GPU in their phone suffers a little, like the Evo with its Adreno 200.
That might be it except for racing games. Asphalt 5 had a version running on pure PowerVR glory which was smooth as butter then they "updated" the game and it started running on CPU power instead which is smooth but NEVER as good as it was unfortunately.
Asphalt 6 and Fast 5 are both using the same thing now so there is no hope we will get butter smooth performance like our phones can do :(

Android could really do with something akin to DirectX.

Ahh, so this is why their racing games lag so much, I was just considering getting fast 5 as well, I won't bother now. :(

Yep, this is Googles responsibility, if they want to compete with iPhone when it comes to gaming they need to set some kind of standard developers have to follow so games work universally across different hardware so long as its capable.

This isn’t an issue for Apple as they have fewer devices and seem to sticking with PowerVR which is a very good move for them.

Well, I actually bought that game and it runs good enough to enjoy but it has some bad hiccups that killed the fun too often.
Happens with all versions it seems as I saw it with Ipad too.
The guy with the iPad told me an update was released and seemed to have fixed that so hopefully they will fix ours too as it looks pretty sick for a phone game. :)

runs pretty well for me....not perfect but deffinately well enough to play and enjoy...

I finally got this game...it looks and plays amazing. Rooting is awesome! =)

I'm a little confused though...it says on Gameloft LIVE that it has no achievements (0/0), and there is also no way to look at achievements while in the game either. Throughout the game though you are unlocking achievements that popup when you complete them like they do in other Gameloft games. Anyone else notice this?

Yeah I noticed it as well. I would say only have of Gameloft's 33 games have achievements that actually work. Not sure what the difficulty is but often times an update comes out that enables them.
