About to Buy First Android!

Hello,

My name is Nick and came across this forum researching the LG Optimus V. I've got a Virgin Mobile LG Rumor 2 now but its lacking. Saw the Optimus V on VM's site and it looked very interesting. Now I've made the decision and will be picking one up this week sometime. I'm reading through here now trying to decide several pertinent questions:

* Which size microSD card to buy and what class?
* How to continue reading books and comics on the Android? (I have a iPod Touch now that I use Stanza and Comic Reader Mobi on. CRM was $15 for the iPod Touch, and I can't bring myself to pay it again!)
* To root or not to root?

So, I'm off to read up and get ready! Hi everyone!

If its SanDisk or Kingston Class 2 will suffice, otherwise Class 4 (IMO)
I'd go for 8GB or 16GB

1.i have a 16g class 10 patriot card and could not be any more happy with it.
2.i have the amazon kindle app on my phone, works great and it is free!!!

I have a class 2 16gb Sandisk and that does just fine for me... and if you really wanna customize your phone, rooting is definitely the way to go, but be sure to read everything a couple times to make sure you 100% know what you're doing
