Gingerbread impressions/tips/problems NON ROOTED STOCK ONLY

Well to say gingerbread is a let down would be an understatement. They shouldnt have even bothered updating the Evo if their gonna do it in such a half ass way. Gingerbread on the Evo looks absolutely nothing like gingerbread on stock google due to sense getting in the way. They didnt update sense at all from what I can see. And all of the cool features of gingerbread were not included, especially the one when you hit the button to turn off the screen and it makes that cool animation like a tv is shutting off.. its completely missing as is many other features

I can confirm the attachment bug in the HTC Mail app seems to have been fixed in the 4.22.651.1 update.

When setting up an Exchange Activesync account in the HTC Mail app (at least while using Gmail set as an Exchange Activesync account). I can download and view the attachment and there is no "Attachment is Corrupt" error. I am also able to foward an email with an attachment from my Inbox. However if I go into the Sent Mail folder and try to forward a previously sent email it does not send and I get the "Unable to Send Email" error.

The HTC Mail app is now at version 2.00.0037.60865. I'm not sure what the version was before the update though.

They specifically said there would not be any Sense updates in this release. Most of the changes are under the hood. New Copy and Paste, a few New System menus (Most Notably under applications), Fast Boot is really nice, HTC clock now flips (not a big deal at all just pointing it out), New Gmail Notification Icon (again no big whoop), it seems faster (seems being key word), New Browser. Again alot of Gingerbread changes are in the API's and the addition of NFC support. We do of course miss out on Vanilla Android UI improvements.
