I highly doubt that the Evo will play back your Avatar rip in 3D. It's not utilizing the same technology. Also, random comment... It seems a lot of people on this forum think that recording a 3D movie/picture on your Evo and then uploading to your computer, that the image will be 3D on your computer. That's impossible as well.
To put this matter to rest, I just played my Avatar rip in 3D on my EVO. GG
Also, I'm not particularly well versed in these matters so most of what fattank said went over my head, but as far as Handbrake conversion settings go (which I think the OP was asking about), I used this:

I was rather pleased with the results, even if they might not be the absolute best. If you all have any suggestions or improvements in terms of settings, I would love to hear it
