The coolest feature of this phone is that everything is blazing fast on a large screen. My 2nd generation iPod touch whimpers at all of my Infuse's features.
The only thing that I'm authorized to complain about is its poor OTA firmware update connectivity. If you want to know what I mean do this and follow these steps:
Check your "baseband" version by going to Settings>About phone and scrolling to the bottom. If it says "I997UCKE3," then you don't need to follow these steps.
1. If your baseband version says "I997UCKD5," then go to Settings>Software Update.
2. Tap "Check for updates"
3. Read the scary warning, then tap "OK"
4. Wait 3-5 minutes while the phone desperately tries to connect to check for updates (if you get the "check again in 24 hours" message, you need to clear the data for Device Management).
5. Dismiss the message that says "Connection failed. Unable to connect to the AT&T server."
You're done.
Now, I'm not trying to void anyone of their excitement of this phone. I really love this phone; I really do. And I have to admit that I'm going a little overboard with this minor issue; everything else works flawlessly on the Infuse.
The blazing fast speed of this huge screen phone that displays crisp-clear text outweighs the problem I detailed so fully above. Please do not take that the wrong way. Again, I truly love most everything about this phone. All of its features are so cool.
