Help Message Not Sent!

I've been using the Samsung Galaxy Prevail for about 3 months now.Its been a great phone up until last week. Its a issue that only occurs at home though. My 3g and bar service goes in and out of service and its a nightmare to make calls and send and receive messages.I called customer service and they did some trouble shooting over the phone and momentarily it worked and i was able to make calls at home for a couple of hours. But the problem has returned. And the biggest pain in the neck is text messages , it keeps attempting to send and maybe 1 in 10 go through and the other 9 i get the message not sent notification even though people tell me they are receiving my messages. So i keep sending it till it goes through and the people im texting tell me they get 5 + of the same message i sent.I dont know what else to do i tried the airplane mode trick , rebooting, setting everything back to factory settings but nothing. And keep in mind my wife has the same exact phone and gets perfect service at my house. What can i do?

I'm having the exact same problem but has for me my 3G will drop.My friend who has the same service his 3g will stay there and mine will drop at times. Which is weird cuz when I had an intercept from virgin mobile. My 3g will drop at my house. And now I have a prevail and my 3g will drop. But my friends virgin and boost their 3g will never drop. I swear each time I root it does this to me( At my house) Even though they say root doesn't mess with it.

Since day one I haven't been able to send mms messages (picture messages). Everything else works and I (thankfully) live in an area where I get decent coverage. Everything works all the time. Phone, text messages, network. Only thing is that I cant ever send pictures to anyone.

I've just accepted that. Something I have to live with. Only person I want to send pictures to is my wife anyway. So I just email attach it to her android phone.

Receiving pictures has never been a problem.

bump

any help out there

You might just have a lemon and you may need to send it back to the factory . I would contact Boost again and make them go through a detailed trouble shooting session w/ you . I know it's a B*tch but it sounds like it's either on their end or a faulty phone . I would do a factory reset first just to see if that would fix it .

Hey guys, where you from? Sprint towers in the Midwest are nearly down for the past few months. Not that they don't work, but just not when you need them to.
I am taking Sprint to court over the issue as I was a customer of theirs for nearly ten years and they admitted they gave me crappy service. I asked them to solve it and make me a happy customer and I'd stay with them...etc, but they didn't do anything about it except give me a big credit.....but no fixes.

So, I went to Boost. Yeah, I know. However, I've dropped a total of 10 calls maybe? in the past month of having the phone now. Rarely have things not gone through, but if they didn't there just isn't much in terms of coverage where I was located at the time. I'm 95% in the coverage area and have had no significant problems. Happy...but still upset at the same time.
