i have an htc inc (1)...there is a cable you can purchase, i use it on my inc...it's possible that it will work with inc 2....(good luck)

The TV out cable for the original Incredible will NOT work on the Incredible2. That cable has a modified micro-usb which will not fit into the Inc2's standard micro usb jack.

The only way currently to get picture from your phone to your TV is to stream it using a compatible DLNA device. These can include a Sony PS3, a DLNA equipped TV, or you can use HTC's DLNA adapter (around $150). I have heard that some of the devices (the HTC adapter being the exception) may not work. That is due to there currently being no standard for DLNA transmission.

So to break it down, currently there is no wired solution to get your phone's content on a TV. If you want to stream it to your TV, HTC's adapter will work, but other devices like PS3s & DLNA equipped TVs would have to be tested to see if they will work.

I too wish they had a wired solution, since a $30 cable is alot cheaper than a $150+ device. But I will say however that on a flat screen TV, if you're used to HD picture, the picture I got using the TV out cable on my Inc1 was kind of a let down. The reason being is it's using composite video (rca video & L+R audio) which is not HD. Personally I don't consider component video (rca R+G+B video & L+R audio) much better than composite, especially when comparing both to HDMI.

I have covered this in another thread on this site and in that thread I have a pic of the Inc1 TV out cable's modified micro usb connector. You can do a search if you want to see for yourself. Hope that clears things up.
