Help Phone WILL NOT recognize

Phone will not be recognized by computers. Both mac and PC. I set the storage settings to "Mass Storage", I plugged it in, it charges, nothing else comes up on the computers...

have you installed kies? the computers need the appropriate drivers in order to recognize the phone, and installing kies accomplishes this.

let me know if you have done that, or if it still does not work, and i may have some other suggestions.

Yes I have that installed on my mac, and Kies does not recognize it still.

stock cable that came with the phone..or a different one...and do you have a different cable you can try?

No the cables are aftermarket that I brought on ebay. And unfortunately they are the only cables I have. Do you think they're the problem? They charge when I plug them into the computer, but they don't get recognize

Several of my ebay cables turned out to be charge only....they will not transmit data.

try and aquire a different cable
