So i am running Sense ROM, with stock SD partitioned card.

I decided to repartition, using recovery menu. Seems to partition ok.

I reboot. My phone is stuck @ the LG boot logo going on 15 minutes.

I tried to reboot into recovery...nothing.

Any ideas??

The one posted by getitnowmarketing...

I think it was for 2.2 not 2.2.1.. is that my issue?
That depends on if your phone came with 2.2 originally, It must have or you would not even get into recovery, phones shipped with 2.2.1 were changed slightly, so people didnt just downgrade to 2.2 and root.

I think you could do the unbrick, then use the new recovery, see if it works better.
You will need to root with the gingerbreak not the z4root.

Once I unbrick it. Cant I just load up the new recovery menu and load the Sense ROM, its already rooted...
when you use the bin file to unbrick it you lose custom recovery, and in order to put recovery back on you have to be rooted. the bin is stock unrooted. as far as I know. I can not remember if there is a rooted version.

If you have a nand backup of your phone then as soon as you put custom recovery on you can restore the back up,

Or flash the sense rom if you dont have a nand backup

Yes there is a rooted version. That was how we got root on 2.2.1. Follow this guide to use the rooted bin. LOL
