Help Clock/Alarm Issues

Hey guys, yesterday my alarm went off an hour later than it should have. I have the stock "clock" feature that has the alarm. My phone clock would say 8:00am, and my alarm would say 7:00am but the alarm didn't go off until 8:00am. Now today my phone and alarm clock are both an hour off (behind by 1 hour). I have shut down and restarted the phone a few times and about half the time it would temporarly fix the clock, but then later on it would revert back 1 hour. Any suggestions on this issue? I haven't found any information anywhere that I could see. Thank you.

I had found an app on the market that attempted to sync the time on the phone, but I can't seem to locate it again. There was an explanation in the apps description as to why this (your time sync issue) happens, if I remember correctly.

Sorry, I know this doesn't help, but perhaps you or someone else will have better luck finding that app.

Not to the best of my knowledge, they have non-volatile memory, meaning the memory doesn't get erased when it isn't powered. Time/date updates come from your cell provider/internet. I don't see a setting within the normal options to manually update time/date.

Is it possible this is an issue of mistaken phone location? Does the OP live near a time zone difference? What are your current location settings regarding mobile data and wireless?

Have you tried enabling GPS to more accurately lock your current location?
